Spain Blockchain Services Infrastructure​

ISBE is the public-permissioned blockchain services infrastructure of Spain, the first infrastructure in Europe designed from the ground up to comply with the European qualified distributed ledger technology (qDLT) framework under EU Regulation 2025/2531.

This page is a single reference guide for the onboarding process: all the information, resources, and steps to start deploying your solution in ISBE.

Onboarding Requirements​

  • Main Requirement: Your company must have a valid Digital Certificate for Legal Representative to register and access the ISBE infrastructure.
  • Don't have a digital certificate? Contact the ISBE technical team, and we will guide you through access alternatives and the steps to follow.

Onboarding Process (Step by Step)​

Follow these 9 steps to complete your integration into the network:

1. Receiving welcome email​

After contacting us to start the collaboration with ISBE, you will receive an email with relevant information to begin and a request for a Kickoff meeting.

2. Kickoff Meeting​

We will schedule a 1-hour session to:

  • Team set-up: Meet and assign technical interlocutors.
  • Process review: Step-by-step review of the complete onboarding process.
  • Q&A: Resolve technical or process-related questions.
  • Next steps: Establish the joint work plan.

3. Onboarding and contract signing​

Formalization of the relationship through onboarding in our portal using your digital certificate and the online signing of the collaboration contract.

4. Adaptation of your Smart Contract​

Check our documentation to select the Deployment Mode that best suits your needs and adapt your Smart Contract to the selected mode.

5. Technical review request for your Smart Contract​

In our Customer Portal, you can register your Smart Contract so that our team can perform the corresponding technical review.

6. Deploy in PRE​

Initial testing in the pre-production environment and verification that everything operates as expected.

7. Deploy in PRO​

Final deployment in the production environment.

8. Registration in CSC​

Final registration of your solution in the Commercial Services Catalog.

9. Follow-up Plan​

After the kick-off, the ISBE team will support you with periodic meetings during the first 2 months to ensure that each milestone is met.
